I'm thinking that a good mod for questing would be a text search ability in your quest log. Kinda like the Ctrl+F that Windows allows you, but specifically for search within your Quest Log. How many times have you been in an area and done a quest, gone back to drop it and do another only to realize 30 mins later that you had another quest in that area to pick something up off the ground or plant something and didn't remember? Creating a mod that will search your Quest Log for say "Bladspire" or "Mana Forge Duro" would allow you to see what quests mention that area without having to searching every line of every quest. I realize that not all quests give you named locations (some just say east of here or north or something from the NPC), but having a mod like this when you discover a new area you could just type the name and see what quests you have for that area. I'm not a programmer and do not think I have the skill to craft such a mod, prehaps someone will troll through here and see this and think it's a good idea as well. Maybe one already exists, but I have been unlucky in finding it so far. Anyone second?

Very good idea. I don't currently know of anything that does this for active quests but I do believe you could do this within one or two quest history mods. If somebody could write an all in one current quest tracker/quest history mod, I think a search function would be easy enough to code for.

Ya, questhistory was very good at finding things in any quest. That mod though got broke by BC though, so still waiting for a fix.

Hm? I have a working copy of QuestHistory right now that I got post-TBC and I remember seeing at least one fan branch that works too.
