  • About TinyKoS
  •

Minimalistic Kill-on-Sight (KoS) addon.
Just stores a list (per realm) of players, and warns through LibSink, if they occur in the combatlog.

There is only a very minimalistic slash-command-UI for now.
Usage:
+ Go to the built in WoW-addon-config-panel
or
+ rightclick the LDB-plugin

for fast adding new names you can also use the slashcommand:
/tinykos <name> <reason>

PS: Yes I know VanasKoS. Yes, I tried it. This is going to be a very minimalistic KoS-addon with no guild-kos, nice-list, or stuff...

  • This is perfect for me. I don't need another heavy weight addon taking up more channels. Plus I really don't need a bounty hunter system or something that tracks every enemy on the server (I already have Paranoia).

What I do need is to be able to create a KoS or "hit list" and know when that player appears in my combat log. Nothing more. TinyKos is perfect for that. VanasKoS is way to much uses up channels for data. I tried Codegreens KOS and it was a nightmare at Wintergrasp. Damn thing started tracking the tanks!

    Thank you, Profalbert.

  • So I added a little config in the latest alpha. It's available in the Blizzard-interface-options or just right-click the ldb-plugin.
list-management is next (add, edit, remove)

  • It alerts via LibSink. I still need to make a real UI for that.
LibSink means you can use any addon supported by LibSink (Blizzard FCT, Chatoutput, MSBT, SCT, Parrot, etc) for output.
Screenshot will be there as it's something usable.
I'll code some UI this weekend. Then one will be able to remove players, edit entrys, config warning-intervals, and where the output should go.

    try
    /script Tinykos.db.profile.sink.sink20OutputSink="Blizzard"
to display it as Blizzard Floating CombatText

any way to remove a person from the kos-list? and how does it alert? is there a window that pops up, or do you see the message added (to /tinykos ) when you mouseover them? a screenshot would be nice :)

So, you don´t plan to add a nice-list and a "sync with you friends" option?
That´s what i really liked about Vanaskos.
Other than that, nice to see a new/working KOS addon!!
