While out questing - whether it's to level or do farm up some gold to cover daily repair and activity costs - there are a number of AddOns that can help you along the way to success.
Quest Log
- MonkeyQuest -- MonkeyQuest takes the quest log to an entirely new level. In fact, the AddOn makes it so you don't really even need the quest log for the majority of your time spent questing. It offers the ability to color quests by difficulty, display quest levels, show/hide quests and objectives based on completeness, display progress in tooltips, and a lot more. This is one AddOn worth checking out.
Quest Guidance
- QuestHelper -- The quest log doesn't always tell you everything you need to know - even when it's customized by an AddOn, so having additional help if always incredibly useful. With that in mind, we highly suggest trying out QuestHelper. You won't be disappointed; whether solo or grouped -- QuestHelper not only reduces the amount of time spent on each quest, but it also makes the experience more enjoyable.
Map Enhancements
- Cartographer -- Knowing your way around an area while questing is crucial to the speed and experience, which is where Cartographer comes in. It not only displays you and your group on the map with a variety of information, but it also keeps track of key events such as resource gathering, and integrates perfectly with QuestHelper to add another layer of "awesome" to the questing experience.
Miscellaneous AddOns
- Turn In -- If you've done it once, it pains you to do it again. We know, we've been down that road before, too. Turn In helps alleviate those pains of doing repeatable quests -- especially ones involved in reputation grinding -- by automatically turning them in when you interact with a quest NPC.
- Factionizer -- If you're struggling to figure out the best way to gain reputation through questing, this AddOn will guide you along perfectly. It will suggest the best path to reach the next level of reputation for whichever you're currently focused on, including which quests to take at that point in time.
If you're going to be grouping to do quests, then head over to our Recommended Grouping AddOns section to check some of them out.
